Dr. Sophia Edwards-Bennett, M.D., Ph.D., DABR, affectionately known to her patients as Dr. EB, CEO of MyDoctorEB LLC. is a Multiple Award Winning, Board-Certified Radiation Oncologist, Consultant, International Speaker, Best Selling Author featured on NBC, ABC, Fox, and affiliates and Hollywood Live. She gained her medical and oncology post-graduate education from Harvard’s Cancer Therapeutics and Research Program, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and Weill Cornell Medicine at Cornell University. Prior to her medical career, she obtained her BSc.in Bio-Organic Chemistry from the University of the West Indies, Jamaica, and a PhD from Georgia State University. She has been a practicing oncologist for over a decade and, is not only passionate about cancer patients’ clinical care but, has excelled academically, authoring, and co-authoring multiple peer-reviewed publications in the field of oncology, and as an invited speaker at numerous national and international conferences. She has also led in the establishment and launching of Radiation Oncology centers nationally and internationally. Consistently endeavoring to educate, edify, enlighten and transform others through her practice, she is renowned in her field for her innate understanding of cancer and empathy toward her patients.
