My name is Cecilia Cervantes, M.D.  I was born in Havana, Cuba, and immigrated to the United States with my family in 1962. I grew up in Queens, N.Y., and eventually obtained my medical degree from SUNY Stony Brook. I studied Internal Medicine and have been a physician for over 36 years. I did a Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine practice for 20 years. Then, during the advent of COVID, I decided it was time to transition to a Holistic approach. I have always had a significant interest in alternative/integrative practices and went on to study a variety of modalities. So my focus now is on the mind/body connection.  I have enjoyed learning and using Herbal Medicinals, Functional Medicine, Hypnosis, and other modalities in my current practice. As a lifelong learner, I aim to spread my knowledge through teaching. I am taking advantage of the opportunity to do this through various mediums. My husband and I reside in Texas with our beloved 4-legged furry children.
